...HARD!
Some of what I had been talking about regarding how the dynamic has shifted in relationships and the myth of the man shortage is still on my mind. But, the past two weeks have been very busy for me and I crashed out this week. I have mentioned that while there are people who suffer from the family of injury that I do, what I don't talk about is the greater number of people for whom living with CTBI is about all they can do. Me, I am somewhere between the extremes of super-high functioning and that of being dependent on others in order to live as stable a life as I can manage and still consider myself to be 'independent'.
What does all this mean? I like to think that while it is as stretch for me to believe that 'I can grow up to be president', I still think I can be 'speaker of the house'! My attitude is one where I know there is a ceiling for me, but it is my obligation to push up against it and fill the space between it and the floor with as much as I can.
My Easter weekend has been way cool. Not only have I had internet friends looking in on me but I have recieved phone calls from Nixxie & KT (and as usual, they had jokes!) and the SFC, too. And everyone's (meaning: MY!) favorite Cornhusker, Nebraska, has spent time with me this weekend as well. We have been getting along a lot better and I can see things normalizing between us before long.
This week is going to be a busy one as well but I do expect to be visiting blogs and doing a little 'catching up' as well. Right now I am watching an episode of 'Drag U' on Logo featuring, Charlene Tilton (Lucy from the TV show 'Dallas'), Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from 'Gilligan's Island'), and Erin Murphy (better known as 'Tabitha' on 'Bewitched). I hope to find the energy later to get back out here but right now, I am engrossed in the what the 'Dragulator' has come up with for the ladies!

'Doing well' is always about perspectives. I've been told there are different temperatures in hell; Sometimes it's warmer, sometimes colder. I guess that's true.
Anyhoo. Glad to hear you don't have to take cover from flying objects (that IS good!), and that things are improving.
Love

Been thinking about you, Mark; glad to hear you are doing well and that no one has thrown any objects at you lately. Glad to hear you heard from so many people during this special weekend and that things are improving in relationships!
may you have a good rest of this Easter Day!

Sounds as if things are going rather well. Skye came by yesterday to celebrate the holiday. She's spending Easter with her father's side.
Have a grand Sundays sweet friend. (Hugs)Indigo
I'm glad things are going well lately. Happy Easter, Mark.
Happy Easter Mark! :D
I would definitely vote for you for President...and I think you'd make a kick-ass Speaker of the House!
Happiest Easter! Glad to see some brightness here ;)
I have faith that you could be anything you want! President, Speaker of the House, King of all Media!
Always cheering you on!
If I like someone even a little, I NEVER want them to be president.
You can do better than that.
