KT, Flat Ruthie, and I went downtown the other day to go to the Durham Museum and to do part of the walking tour as well.  Our first stop was at the Northern Migration statues at 16th and Dodge Streets.

From there went over to the Frank Leahy Mall and looked at the swans as we walked the canal down to 10th Street.  After we return to the surface street, we began to make our way to the Durham Museum.  Along the way, we passed the ConAgra world headquarters where there was monitors set up to view the Olympic Trials.

As short walk up a hill and we arrived at the Museum.  KT and I essentially came to go through theMindbender Mansion and to look at some of the trains that were on exhibit there.

While for most of the Museum cameras were not permitted, I did get the chance to snap this
of KT on her way to Nebraska’s neighborhood!!

Look Close and you will see that Flat Ruthie was always the
center of attention!!

Lunch was at Jimmy John’s where we ran into the Gopher Twins, in town to swim for their opportunity to represent the United States in the Olympic Games.  This was NOT the only “brush with greatness” we would have, as Les Miles of LSU was at the Anytime Fitness in the Old Market where I train getting a workout on!

The "Mad Hatter" was a really good sport, too!!  Tomorrow, me and the girls will go out to the Oakview Mall and look at clothes and what not!  Hope that everyone is enjoying Flat Ruthie and her trip to Omaha as much as I am hosting her!!

KT is pretty.

And the woman stadinng next to Les? I could never go out with her. I have always made it a practice to NEVER go out with women who could beat me up.
