The Last Good Day of the Year

That is what today feels like, a nice, pleasantly warm day, falling after the official end of summer. I have been sorta worried about what fall/winter is going to bring, especially in a new place.

This isn't really an update... but I have wanted to share this song with someone at the right time of the year for a long time now, and this is it!

I am feeling better. Watched a gaggle of good movies and one really bad one... prolly will get to them later. But for most of the folks in the Midwest, most definitely for us here in Detroit, this will be the last good day of the year.

Now that's what I like .. optimism. You have many more good days to come, Mark. And, somehow, I think they'll be this year. I don't think this is the last good one. No. There's gonna be more.

In my bones, man. I feel it in my bones.

Or else that's arthritis.

Very sexy, romantic song. Makes me want to slow dance to it with someone I like an awful lot, and then sit in front of a fireplace, talking softly, drinking hot cider and seeing a full moon and the stars out of the window in the night sky:)

glad to hear you are feeling a bit better, Mark. there is always hope of an Indian summer, so maybe this isn't the last good day of the year.....or come to So. Calif. We are due to have 100 degrees this weekend

Expect there may be a few more gems before the nasty weather hits.

Well there's that whole Indian Summer thing that's always a nice surprise -- usually in October I think.

If not for the six earrings (that make his ear look like a spiral notebook), you would think this was a song from 1965.

I enjoyed it- thank you for posting it!
