The visit went very well and Lexxie had a good time with her Dad. It is a promising start to a different kind of relationship between us. Even as there was some gamemanship on her Mom's part, it came down to Lexxie insisting on being able to visit me.
Good thing too, as I am going to be flying out next week... and who knows when we'd be able to see each other again. My thoughts are a jumble. One thing I am sure of is that the feeling of failure isn't among them. You miss 100% of the shots not taken and I did take my shot.
And my girl took hers, too. Unlike previous relationships I have been in, I don't think that she held anything back. I can only hope she feels the same about me.
I don't know what to expect when I get back in the Metro... other than my getting things together (which are specific things and not general) and maybe shaving my head (for the summer!! I like how I look bald... as if you didn't know, I simply like how I look!!) and being enthusiastic about life, what ever else happens, happens.

Good luck - Have a good trip. And yes ... Whatever happens, happens.
Hugs to you buddy.
glad you had a nice visit with Lexxie, Mark, and I think your (temporary) move back to the Metro is a good thing for this season of your life Mark; safe travels

Soon to be counting down the "REAL" days!

(Hugs) Delighted to hear you had a great visit with Lexxie. Kids seem to come into their own understanding the older they get.
As for going back to Detroit, it's just one more stepping stone in the direction you're meant to be. Have a safe journey sweet friend. And yes, you may call me Indy anytime. I'd be honored. (Hugs)Indigo
It all sounds good Mark. And you sound good. About the relationship, time will tell, but it seems you two have the time.
